SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards;
- Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards;
- Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices;
- Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions;
- Be accountable for student's mastery of academic standards; and
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Possession of MA teaching license in middle school science, including SEI endorsement
- Knowledge of current teaching methods & educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles
- Ability to think critically, problem-solve, backwards plan, analyze & use data and prioritize the needs of the student
- Teaching experience with a proven track record of producing dramatic achievement gains is ideal
- Unwavering belief that all students can achieve at high levels and strong commitment to do whatever it takes for all our students to be college-ready
- Belief in a structured school environment that promotes a positive culture of achievement

Salary in accordance with the Agreement between the Winchendon School Committee and the Winchendon Teachers’ Association.
